Ibiza fiestas are a great opportunity to continue the party theme that Ibiza is famous for.
As on mainland Spain, there are fiestas for each town and also fiestas for patron saints days.
They usually last about a week for the town fiestas and offer loads of kids entertainment, concerts, live shows, competitions and parades through the town with floats, old cars and more. They usually finish with glorious firework display.
Everybody’s welcome, so why not make a point of visiting a fiesta when on the island.

Ibiza has been awarded a total of 18 blue flags for their beaches. This is 2 more than last year.

Blue flags are an International recognition of a number of factors including the combination of water quality, local information and accessibility for the beach users.

The following beaches on Ibiza have received the award:
Cala Tarida, Cala Conta (2), Cala Bassa, Cala d’Hort, Cala Vadella (new), Santa Eulalia, Es Cana, Cala Llenya,
Cala Llonga, Es Figueral (new), Puerto San Miguel, Cala San Vicente, Portinatx, Benirras, Cala Gracio, Cala des Moro and Es Puet.
San Jose had six of their beaches earn the right to fly the blue flag.
